We headed to Ueno Station and had lunch before sending off Ate Cel who is going back to Fukushima. There are a bunch of restaurants outside the station. But since it’s raining and almost lunch time, most of the restaurants were occupied. Then we decided to have lunch at Yebisu Bar. The food display counter is very inviting.
No
we didn’t try their famous Yebisu beer sareehh hehe. I thought it was an
expensive restaurant, but price is very reasonable and everyone enjoyed the
food. Thanks to Mars three sisters for treating us for lunch.
After
saying goodbye to Ate Cel and Ate Carl, we continue our journey to Ueno Park. One of the best cherry blossom viewing in Tokyo according to Japan-Guide.com. The
Park is located next to the station “Park Exit”.
UENO PARK
How to get there:
JR Ueno Station, Park Exit.
The
weather is not cooperating; it was raining the whole time we were at the park. I’m
just quite disappointed not seeing as many cherry trees as expected, maybe
because of the weather. It was raining since the day we arrived.
Kiyomizu
Kannon Temple
We
stop to this first cherry tree we saw that is still in bloom. A nice spot for a
photo op, with a beautiful temple as backdrop. I didn’t know that this temple
is popular pala to women hoping to have children.
Another
popular cherry tree located inside the temple packed with tourists.
I
just love the color, very pretty.
It’s a bit nippy and the rain continues to pour so we headed back to the train station to cath our 3PM Disney schedule.
