There’s
always a reason why you should go back to Shibuya. Hachiko Statue, the busiest pedestrian
crossing in the world, shopping and dining.
How to get there:
One of Tokyo’s busiest station since it consist of 11 Lines namely JR Yamanote Line, JR Saikyo Line, JR Shonan Shinjuku Line, Hanzomon Subway Line, Ginza Subway Line, Fukutoshin Subway Line, Tokyu Toyoko Line, Tokyu Den-Entoshi Line, Keio Inokashira and the Narita Express
I’m
sure most of us already know and watched the story of Hachiko. A loyal dog
knows for waiting perseveringly for the return of his dead owner for over 9
years. Don’t worry Hachi, we will come back to see you every time we visit
Tokyo.
Exit
named after him, located just outside Shibuya Station where he waited. Hachiko
statue is popular to tourist so wait for your turn before taking a picture.
Though expect a photo bomber since this is waiting area.
Aside
from Hachiko, Shibuya is also known for this large intersection in front of the
station. This famous crossing is always packed with people from different walks
of life. And every visitor should also experience this scramble crossing. Not
my first time but every time I crossed I feel like I was in a movie. There’s
this happiness in you that you can’t explain hehehe… weird though. Go to the
second floor of Starbucks to get a better view of the intersection.
Of
course be careful when using your selfie stick or monopod, baka may biglang matamaan
at mangaway patay hehe...
Shibuya
is one of Tokyo’s lively and busy districts day and night. It is popular
for shopping, dining and night clubs.
We
end-up going to Parco Department Store to dine at a Hello Kitty Café but sadly
they were replaced by My Melody and My Sweet Piano Cafe. Well since they are
still family, keri na we also like My Melody.
Please
check separate blog here My Melody and My Sweet Piano Cafe
After
dining, we visit this floor which is a must and heaven for all Otaku lovers.
Located
at the 6th floor Part 1 of the building, I think Mugiwara One Piece
Store is the popular among others.
So
this is Sanji right?
Wish
I can relate hehehe… but thank God hindi kundi butas bulsa for sure hehe...
