The stunning, multi-hued Sky bar at Sirocco has several reasons to turn minutes into timeless moments.  Suspended in the sky on the 63rd floor of The Dome at State Tower, the Skybar is one of the world's highest open air bars, overlooking a panoramic view of Bangkok and the Chao Phraya River.  With such an enthralling ambience coupled with a seductive selection of the finest vintages, beverages, cocktails and appetizers in Bangkok, the Skybar soars as one of the prized destinations in the city.  No wonder, the rooftop bar is unanimously accepted as the coolest bar in Bangkok.

Nightlife in Bangkok?  A rooftop bar is what we want to experience.  The city is very famous for it's rooftop bars so we headed to one of the best, an open air bar at Lebua the Sirocco Sky Bar.

Since we are all dressed up, we took a cab going to the State Tower.  A Smart Casual attire is required.  Please see below information on Tower Club Dress Code.

Sirocco Sky Bar & Restaurant is located on the 63rd floor, you can get in without any entrance fee.  Serving the finest Mediterranean cuisine, dining at the restaurant is too expensive so we just got a drink at the bar instead.

Sirocco is the worlds's highest Al fresco restaurant and one of Bangkok's most coveted dining choices.  The restaurant has already won a lot of awards and reputed to be the most spacious open-air rooftop restaurant in Asia.

Sadly, taking photos in this area is not permitted but they were too late we already had some shots :-)... sorry :-|

But having dinner with your partner here is so romantic, i love the atmosphere.  Eating under the stars with Bangkok's city lights panoramic view.  And adding to the perfect backdrop for a truly memorable evening, is the live jazz music... awesome hehehe #dreamin'

And on the other side, is the Sky bar.  It is one of the world's highest open air bars, overlooking the city of Bangkok and the Chao Phraya River.  Tagged as one of the coolest bar in the city.

They have the finest vintages, beverages, cocktails and appetizers in Bangkok. As expected drinks here are expensive, it costs about THB500 or USD18 but it's okay 'coz you're paying for the view and experience.

The bar area is very crowded, most of the people here i guess were all tourists... and lovers if i may add hehe.  Just like us, they were all taking photos.

The edge of the roof is built of glass, so if you're afraid of heights like me, it's really kinda scary :-S.  The best feature here is the illuminated bar that changes color every few seconds, the view and the crowd.

Let's call it a night!  We didn't stay that long, more than an hour maybe.  And since we are not drinkers, the effect of a few sips of Screwdriver makes me feel dizzy and sleepy lol!
