Malaysia - Singapore - Thailand After a luxurious stay at Marina Bay Sands on our first night, we chose to stay in this small charming backpacker's hostel on our second and last night. TripAdvisor’s Ranked No. 6 out of 82 Special lodging in Singapore. Check Reviews here
other Asian countries, I find it hard to look for a hostel with Ensuite rooms
here in Singapore. Budget hotels with nice locations were fully booked
already and quite expensive, it costs SGD50 and up per head.
have no other option but to book for a room with shared bathroom. And since
there is no more room available at A beary NICE hostel, we were referred
to their sister hostel, which is a beary GOOD hostel.

i received the voucher in KL, we were surprised that our rooms are upgraded to

Suite without any additional fees! Wohooo!!! another + for

haha… This is not actually part of the plan. As a budget traveler we
wanted to stay in a hostel since most of the time we’re out. We are not
rich and cannot afford to stay in this luxurious hotel.
checked our bulletin board in the office and caught my eyes on this special
offer for employees. A 30% discount for an overnight stay at MBS and can
pay through salary deduction, offers last until June 30, 2011 only. Whoa!
I know this is still costly but this is not bad. Who never dreamed of
staying here even for just one night? So we grabbed this great
opportunity, all for us to experience this chance once in our lifetime.

After a long
trip from Genting Highlands, we get off at KL Sentral. We still want to
explore the area but the weather did not permit us due to heavy rains. We
decided to just get back to our hotel and opted to take a cab than taking
the MRT because we were dead tired and just wanted to get some rest.
an hour, the group headed to KLCC Suria to take a lastpeek at the towers. The mall was
too crowded as we get in; there is a fashion show on going so we went near the
stage also to check.
set of clothes but we can't stay for long. We still need to find the
famous " Nando's Chicken.
didn't avail the Go Genting Package, which we really regret. I would
still like to share our original plan. You can purchase the package at 5
terminal bus stations in Kuala Lumpur (Puduraya, KL Sentral, 1 Utama,
Terminal Gombak and Hentian Kajang).
So afterBatuCaves, we went to another chocolate store before we mount to the
highlands. A number sticker was given to us upon entering and as
usual the best part of it was the taste test. I like their Tiramisu and i
think it's better than Beryl’s… but when i checked the price hmmm it didn't passed my budget lol!
start your journey, it’s a must that you have a city map and the hotel’s
calling card with you. Just in case you get lost, take a cab and show the
calling card to the driver. You can always ask the hotel's reception for these.
As we walked around Bukit Bintang, we looked for a money changer
first to change a few dollars since the ringgit we had was used to pay for the
hotel. I decided to just change 100USD only since I still have some
ringgit left. By the way, finding a money changer is not a problem in Bukit
Bintang since there were several in the area.
Finally we arrived past 3 in the morning at the hotel.Bintang Warisan Hotelis located in the heart of Golden Triangle, the shopping and
entertainment paradise of Jalan Bukit Bintang district of Kuala
Lumpur. The street was still alive when we got there; there are
some stores and restaurants open.

For me, budget and location are the biggest factors in
choosing my accommodation. But, Tripadvisor'sreview helped me to decide on this hotel. I
made an online reservation in their website. Although, they
didn't ask for any fee, they do need your credit card details just in
case you cancel your reservation. There is no penalty
if cancellation is made 72 hours prior to check-in date.
Otherwise, the cost of one night shall be charged on the card for
each room reserved. We paid the hotel in full upon checking in, but
you still have a choice if you want to pay in full or only for the first night.

Im not prepared!!! lol...how come i haven't received any news or tweet from them a day prior to their guesting in ABS??? I always have my camera with me but this time i left it at home waaahhh... Good thing some of my friends were ready and informed me about this.
Anyways, upon knowing it, me and my friends went to the studio hallway to stalk about their whereabouts. But someone told us that they have an on-going presscon @ the Restaurant 9501 so instead we headed back there.
Along the way, i got another sms that AZKALS were off to Studio 8 so we went straight there. I only saw Aly, Anton and some of the pure pinoys @ the presscon but when i step at the studio so happy to see that most of them were present and to my surprised, Neil was there too weeee!!! I just thought he won't be able to make it coz he's leaving for England today. Finally, got a chance to see them upclose and have a picture taken with them. How i wish the Younghusband Brothers, Rob Gier, Jerry Lucena and Jason Sabio were there too hehe... who else is missing?
I was just in front of them taking these pics... i'm not a footbal fan promise lol!
A fine dining restaurant, very classy and cozy I love the fire place, you will feel the season of Christmas... nice decoration! Yep this restaurant is not new for us Manilenos because they have branch in Quezon City.
Fr. Vic had a 5PM dinner meeting here. We felt tired that time so we didn't go anywhere, we just stayed and EAT again... by the way, dinner at 5PM? gosh, I'm still full that's why i ordered for salad only and dessert while waiting for father... burp! excuse me :-P
Unlike Cafe by the Ruins, we thought this resto was closed because no one's eating. Since we're the only customer that time we had a good service. They should be thankful to us because after a few minutes passed, customers were coming na hehe.
Since we love Korean food, we left our plates empty hehe whoa so full... burp! The food is great, i enjoyed it the most. The staff were friendly and the ambiance is ok, so we gave them a good tip!
MyRating: **** We plan to have our lunch here but because of
the long waiting line, we look for another place. Good thing Fr.Vic, made a
reservation for our breakfast the next day so I got a chance to finally eat
here. The setting is very Baguio, very Filipino.
Mostly tourists are eating here local and international. I was supposed
to order "champorado" at first but change my mind and order something
new which is "Olenick".
" The Summer Capital of the Philippines " 27-30 December 2010 FB Shoutout:“Tagaytay yesterday,
Nueva Ecija today andBaguiotomorrow”.
So hectic! That’s how
simply I described my schedules that time hehe…
It was Christmas day when I got a text message from my friend
Lian asking me to join her inBaguio.
I was hesitant at first 'coz I was in Tagaytay during that time, but since I am
in the middle of my forced leave vacation from the office which will last till
new year, I've decided to go. After my Tagaytay, I go straight ahead to Nueva
Ecija to visit some relatives then went back to Manila to pack my things for
Bagiuo. I was just given 2 hours to get ready then and at exactly 11am, Lian
was already at the gate to pick me up (on time ha). We went to Ateneo first to fetch her priest
friend Fr. Vic, who actually invited her to Baguio. And since it's a
long drive, they both brought lots of food and drinks. While Lian is
having her Starbucks coffee, Father entertained us with his iPad to keep us all
awake. Lian was the only one who knows how to drive
among the three of us, and it's her first time driving to Baguio so we all have
to be very attentive. It took us 6hours to reach Baguio with a few stops
to gasoline stations, only for the call of nature :-)
